These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Cast Iron Games website (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to act responsibly and in accordance with these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your personal data and forms a part of these Terms.
Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you understand and accept these Terms, and agree to be legally bound by them. If you are under the age of 18 or do not understand these Terms, please ask a parent or guardian for assistance. You may not use the Service if you are under 13 years old.
We may update these Terms periodically, and any changes will be effective upon posting on this page.
2. About Cast Iron Games and the Service
The Service is a website and online service owned and operated by Cast Iron Games Limited , a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15710477 with its registered office at Cutter Mill, 7 Tileyard North, Wakefield, England, WF1 5FY (“CAST IRON GAMES”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
These terms of use apply to all use of the Service and form a legal agreement between you and Cast Iron Games.
Your use of Cast Iron Games games and other products and services which incorporate, link to or make use of the Service may be subject to other terms and conditions.
By using the Service you are confirming that you understand and accept (and are able to understand and accept) these terms of use, and that you agree to be bound by them. If you are under the age of 18 or don’t understand these terms of use, please ask a parent or guardian to explain their meaning to you. You must not use the Service if you are under 13.
Cast Iron Games may make alterations to these terms of use from time to time.
3. Intellectual Property and Use of the Service
The Service is provided for your personal, non-commercial use only. No ownership rights are transferred to you.
All content and intellectual property rights, including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, patents, and database rights in the Service, are either owned by or licensed to Cast Iron Games. You may not use or exploit any part of the Service without our prior written permission.
Third-party trademarks and trade names used on the Service are the property of their respective owners. We do not warrant or endorse these.
4. Account Registration and Security
Certain features of the Service are available only to registered users (“Members”). When registering, you must provide accurate, current, and complete information and keep it updated. You may only create one account.
Your username and password (“Login Credentials”) are personal to you. You must not share them or allow others to access your account. You are responsible for all activities under your account. If you suspect unauthorised use of your account or a breach of security, notify us immediately.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, particularly in cases of inactivity (12 months or more), breach of these Terms, or suspected fraudulent or improper use.
5. Prohibited Use and User Obligations
By using the Service, you agree that you will not:
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or another user’s account.
- Modify, reverse engineer, hack, or create derivative works based on the Service.
- Copy, exploit, distribute or disclose any part of the Service without permission.
- Upload, transmit, or distribute any malicious code or harmful content.
- Use the Service for commercial purposes, spam, or solicitation.
- Violate applicable laws or regulations or act in a way that may bring Cast Iron Games into disrepute.
6. Communications
The Service enables the display of your own or third party content (“User Content”) without review or moderation. The Service is therefore merely a conduit of User Content.
The views expressed in any User Content are the views of the individual authors and not those of Cast Iron Games unless specified otherwise by Cast Iron Games.
Cast Iron Games disclaims all liability in respect of any comments, views or remarks expressed in any User Content.
By using the Service you acknowledge that Cast Iron Games has no responsibility to review the content of any User Content and that all User Content is made available on the basis that Cast Iron Games is not required to exercise any control or judgement over User Content. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Cast Iron Games reserves the right to review and/or remove any User Content in its sole discretion.
If you submit data, messages, audio, video, textual or other content through the Service such as through a discussion forum, through creating and sharing characters or game content, or otherwise then:
- you grant us a sub-licensable, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive licence to use and make available any User Content which you submit, worldwide in connection with the Service; and
- you warrant that you own all of your rights to User Content which you submit including but not limited to all copyright, trade mark, design and other intellectual property rights (whether registered or unregistered) necessary for you to grant us the rights referred to in clause 12.6.1; and you agree to comply with our User Content Guidelines as set out in Schedule 1.
Important: Be cautious when interacting with others online. We cannot verify the identity or truthfulness of users and accept no liability for user conduct or content.
7. Liability and Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. While we aim to provide a high-quality service, we make no guarantees that it will be error-free or uninterrupted.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cast Iron Games disclaims all liability for:
- Loss or damage of any kind, direct or indirect, including consequential or punitive damages.
- Any content or information provided through the Service or by users.
- Third-party websites (“External Sites”) linked from the Service, including transactions made on such sites.
- Harm caused by malware, viruses, or other harmful software accessed via the Service.
- Any failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time and without notice if you breach these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.
9. General
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
If any provision is found to be unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to remain enforceable. The remainder will remain in full force.
Failure to enforce any part of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of any rights.
These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Cast Iron Games.
We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms by providing notice via the Service.

Schedule 1: User Content Guidelines
You agree and undertake that you will not post, communicate, transmit or make available to or through the Service any User Content, statement, material, communication or other content which:
- is unlawful or which gives rise to civil or criminal liability;
- infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party;
- is technically harmful such as computer viruses, worms, logic bombs or other malicious software or harmful data;
- is abusive, seditious, sexist, pornographic, homophobic, defamatory, libellous, discriminatory, obscene or racist;
- harasses any person;
- may be deemed a marketing or commercial communication or promotes the products or services of any person;
- contains any restricted material, including but not limited to passwords, medical information or confidential information of any person; or
- solicits, promotes, invites, encourages, advocates, incites or provokes any or all of the foregoing.
You further agree that in any activity you undertake during or in relation to the Service you will not in any way conduct yourself in a manner which is unlawful or which gives rise to civil or criminal liability or which might call us or the Service into disrepute.
You authorise us to remove, restrict, suspend or alter any of your User Content for any reason, in our sole and absolute discretion, including but not limited to User Content which conflicts with the terms of these User Content Guidelines or is otherwise inconsistent with these terms and of use.
